Business

The Associate in Science in Business degree is designed to stand alone as a degree program for students interested in gaining a solid foundation the field of business.

This degree also prepares students for a smooth transition into the B.S. in Business Management degree. The program includes an overview of general management theory and principles and introduces students to the fundamental business concepts of economics, marketing, finance, and organizational behavior.

Similar to the B.S. degree, courses are built upon a foundation of six essential competencies that are integrated throughout the curriculum: critical thinking, effective oral and written communication, applied quantitative analysis, managing in a global environment, ethical practice, and leadership.
